Once an online, written, or verbal booking has been accepted by RoseReiki, the client will have entered into an agreement to receive a treatment, course, or workshop based on the following terms and conditions.PaymentWe respectfully ask that clients make payment via PayPal, Stripe, bank transfer, or cash either before or at the time of treatment. Non-payment will result in no treatment being provided. If paying online, please use your name as a reference.CancellationsA minimum of 24 hours notice is required from the start of a client's treatment appointment time if a change or cancellation is to be made without incurring a charge. Payment for each treatment is required in full if the session is cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice or if the client fails to attend.Discretionary Waiver of Charges for Missed/Changed AppointmentsChanging or rebooking an appointment within 24 hours of the appointment date and time, without extra charge, is at our discretion and will only be considered in emergencies.Late or Early Arrival for online appointmentsIf you arrive early, please wait for your appointment in the Zoom waiting room. If you arrive late, your therapist will attempt to offer the best possible service within the remaining time; however, the appointment will still end at the agreed time with no adjustment to the fee.Classes and CoursesA minimum of one week's notice is required ahead of the first day of a client's course if a change or cancellation is to be made. Payment for the course is required in full if the session is canceled with less than one week's notice or if the client fails to attend.PricesTreatments, courses, and workshops, along with their listed prices, are subject to change without prior notification.Refusal to TreatWe reserve the right to refuse or discontinue a treatment at any point. This may apply if:The client is under the influence of alcohol or recreational drugs.The client has recently undergone surgery.The client behaves in an inappropriate or offensive manner.The client is or becomes unwell (e.g., fever, digestive upset, allergic reaction, seizure, fainting).The client has a medical issue that contraindicates therapy, which will be discussed during the consultation.GP consent is required.ChildrenClients under the age of 16 are welcome if accompanied by a parent or legal guardian, who will be required to provide signed consent to treatment and remain present for the duration of the agreed treatment.Medical IssuesTreatments conducted by RoseReiki are not a substitute for proper medical diagnosis and treatment. At no time will a client be encouraged to stop medical treatment or alter their prescription drugs without prior discussion with a GP or consultant. It is also the client’s responsibility to consult with their GP and obtain approval before any treatments can commence.Personal InformationDuring a client’s treatment consultation, we will collect personal information important for our client-therapist relationship, which will be used to tailor treatments. This information is strictly confidential and will be maintained accurately by updating it as advised by the client.Sensitive InformationWe may address specific personal issues, challenges, or general conditions in a client’s life or profession. All provided information will be kept strictly confidential, except in cases where withholding information may result in danger to the client or others. All communication during therapy is confidential, with exceptions for situations where therapists are required to inform the authorities, such as when there is a possibility of harm to you or the public. GuaranteesThe success of individual therapy is influenced by several complex factors. While benefits are typically observed in most cases, there can be no guarantees of success or cure for a condition or its treatment, as per CHNC guidelines. If you refer to an upsetting experience, you may feel uncomfortable; the BELL OF THERAPY and aftercare sheet explains that you may feel worse when addressing an issue, though this typically improves as your therapy and healing journey progresses. Remote WorkingWe prioritise the security of your personal details. Zoom is a stable platform and close to being GDPR-compliant. Please download it here if needed: Zoom Download.Please have your mobile phone and landline on silent, but your therapist requires your mobile number to contact you in case of a technical glitch.Ensure your internet connection is strong and stable for the appointment.Ensure there are no other Wi-Fi-intensive activities during the appointment, such as streaming, apps, or other users of your hub, as these may reduce reception quality.Ensure adequate Wi-Fi reception in the room you are using or switch to Data Use if it offers better reception.Set an alarm on your phone to activate 5 minutes prior to the end of your appointment time to ensure you are fully cognitive by the close of the appointment in case of a technical glitch.Ensure your therapist can see you throughout the appointment.Ensure your device is securely positioned and not handheld.Retain a copy of this form for your reference.Privacy PolicyThis privacy statement outlines how RoseReiki complies with European Union data protection requirements. It applies to our website and booking system. We may change this privacy statement from time to time, so please continue to check this page to ensure you are happy with any changes.We may collect the following information:For bookings, we may collect your name, telephone, email, and mailing addresses.During a consultation, we may also ask you to provide information regarding your personal or professional interests, lifestyle, health conditions, and wellbeing to ensure we deliver the best service to you.
